Welcome to NSA
The NEPAL STUTTERS ASSOCIATION (NSA) was established on 11 June 2003 by a group of stutterer. The registration number is 955/059/60. The Executive Committee of the NSA consists of a group of stutterers who come from different sectors and are highly motivated to bettering the situation of stutterers. When the NSA Executive Committee was established, an attempt was made to insure participation of the parents whose children stutter, without any gender bias, and involving active members.
OBJECTIVES OF NSA
The NSA has planned a wide range of programs for organizing stutterers and contributing to solve the problems of stutterers. In order to accomplish the goal, the objectives of the NSA are as follows.
- To provide information to people about the facts of stuttering.
- To organize the stutterers in Nepal
- To collect the resources to help the stutterers
- To help the stutterers increase their fluency.
- To help stutterers lead normal lives with the help of speech therapy and various types of new technology & information.
- To contribute to improving understanding about the attitudes of people toward stuttering around the world.
- To take part in the activities of the International Stuttering Association (ISA) and distribute information to the stutterers of Nepal.
